This has to be ragebait, right?

I've been working with a friend cleaning out her barn, and she has a heck of an infestation (five went a-scuttling per box moved, minimum). I'm wired weird, so I think they're kind of cute shy guys. This one got a little too close to my flip flops for comfort, but posed pretty for this picture
Omelet for breakfast today, with cheese, jalepenos, and onions. I've been eating so many hard boiled eggs for weeks by just sticking them in this cute, simple little contraption, putting them on ice, and then right back in the fridge. Eggs are a great source of protein, even if you don't have the energy to make them first thing.
Measure out the water in the little tube it comes with, put it in the omelet tray, put the cover on, and ten mins later it's done when you hear the beep. They're around $15-$20 new, or much cheaper used. I took a picture but I can't post it, so just feel free to imagine my glorious omelet. Here's your reminder to eat something
You just enter your address. Or your neighbor's address, whatever is clever. Early voting ends tomorrow, general election is Tuesday.
Someone shared this a bit ago, and I haven't seen it mentioned since, but it's a fantastic resource.
I had the sleeping pills in my hand. I thought about it. I did. But I wanted to give myself a chance to think properly.
I had a dream, of my stepdad driving me to the airport, and a bomb got dropped. We looked at each other, and were so scared. Until we weren't.
Death was peaceful.
But then I woke up. To the cat, stepping on me. Yeti has always been judgemental, but he's especially so today. His tail keeps flicking. He's just as needy as he's always been. But today, it hits different.
Loki looks on, a smile with a tongue and a dribble of drool dangling from his jowels. Hungry husky.
"Sit. Stay," I order him.
They need me.
So, I stay.
I'm feeling proud of myself, but I don't have a lot of people to share this accomplishment with.
Sugar baby watermelons left, and large red cherry tomaters right. Fingers crossed I don't kill them like that poor apple seed I tried to grow. I found a Topsy turvy at the thrift store for the tomatoes, so that's copasetic. They're actually the clearance garbage baby seeds that started this.
BUT I have no idea where to plant the watermelons (those were the biggest pots I had at the time 4 weeks ago{?}, but they're quickly outgrowing them). Our soil is GA red clay fill dirt. It's hard as calculus, so I don't know if raised beds are the move or if they'd manage to do somewhat well in planters? I've heard tomatoes like pain, so maybe watermelons are similar and would actually do fine in the ground?
Any advice helps!
Also I know I know, the dill in the egg trays look sad. Maybe I need to pot them. I'm hoping light will fix it, but they might be too far gone on their leggy little stems
