Thats it, I bought a working gearbox while waiting for the owner of the car to find the paperwork and hand methe car (850 Turbo). I haven’t turned on the car, the previous owner don’t know wich is the issue with the car, only that was a gearbox issue (car is parked from 2018)

Best case is just a bad done maintenance (here nobody knows how to work auto gearboxes)

Worst case, I have to replace the gearbox with the working one that i bought.

In that case, what preventive maintenance can i do to bulletproof the working gearbox ? I read about solenoid issues, should i replace something? Coming from a BMW where preventive maintenance requires tear apart the whole engine, so maybe I have some trust issues.

Hola, me encontré una joyita botada en un estacionamiento de edificio, lleva años ahi y nadie sabia de quien era. 5 minutos en internet y encontré el dueño (fallecido el 2023), lo cual después confirme con el auto-fact.

El auto esta juntando polvo y estan amenazando con mandarlo a corrales, tiene 40.000km, inmaculado por dentro (estacionamiento techado) y mas encima es una version especial de un auto ya escaso. Soy mi propio mecanico por lo que ese tema no me asusta jajsja

Alguien tiene experiencia con algún cacho similar?

Hay alguna forma de “recuperarlo” ? Que no implique buscar a los herederos/conyuge (que parece que no hay)
