If you know 'em, you love 'em. Modders are the champions of gaming communities everywhere. And for Bretonnia in particular, they are an infusion of lifeblood sorely needed.

CA, I know your job is harder. Your creative freedom is tied to GW, you're subject to quality assurance and balancing, and you've got multiple major projects going at the same time. But if you've ever used mods as inspiration for your own creations, or informal "field testing" to see what works and what people like, take a look at what our guys and gals have cooked up.

One of these days, I'll put together a Tier list of Bretonnia mods for community approval/public ridicule (don't kink shame me). Since I'm impatient, I'll put a shout out of favorite mods of mine in the comments. Please do the same for yours!

Thank you CA for giving us Bretonnia. Thank you for inventing the blessed field trebuchet and giving us royal hippogryphs. Thank you for giving us grail reliquaes, which are as funny as they are stupid. Thank you for giving us knightly valor and Monty Python humor. For quests into the Southlands, Badlands, and Chaos Wastes. For great memories, and a great series of games.

And while I and others will push for a faction update, if it doesn't come, I can honestly say that I'm content with what we already have.

Amidst the bleak and often-derided End Times writing, there are also some genuinely banger scenes. Case in point:
