Any tips on improving the ping?

So I have a gaming PC and am currently playing Fortnite right now. With the two wifi antennas that came with the pc, I’m able to hit the server ping that is shown in game but I want to lower it? Is there anything I can buy/do to lower it to less than 30?

How’s travelling to Myanmar as a former citizen like now?

So I’ve been wanting to return home because
A. Last time I went back was in 2018
B. I’m getting jealous with freaking white people visiting my country while I can’t

My parents tell me that apparently you can only exit the country if the government tells you/they decide when you exit, meaning you can’t buy two way tickets. Is it true? Also will it arouse any suspicion if I return since I still have a Burmese name?

Did Covid ruin the part time job market?

Back in 2019, I heard many of my friends who managed to get part time jobs, that were temporary. For example, they only lasted a few days to a week and you got the pay on the spot in cash. Nowadays, when I look at part time job listings, 95% of them want you to commit for at least 3 months. Did something else happen over the years that forced employers to switch to this?

Comeback stories

A few days ago, I ranted here about how I felt like I wasted my semester. I'm already expecting my GPA to be atrocious, so I want to hear if there are any stories of people whose year 1 wasn't so great but you made a turnaround for subsequent years.

This whole semester has been a shit show for me. The best analogy I can use is that I'm like Mbappe at Real Madrid this season. Similar to how he scores so many goals just to go trophyless, I put in so much effort to end up with horrible results.

Now of course, I could have put in more effort from the start, but already from the beginning there were so many obstacles.

  1. Had to deal with one less member in one of my modules.
  2. Another module had so many tasks to do weekly that weren't graded but still took a lot of time
  3. And after my very first paper, that was so difficult, the momentum for exam prep was pretty much derailed

Although there's moderation and other things to be taken into account, I don't like following this narrative and have even considered repeating the year, even though I highly likely won't get any Fs.
