Finally did it! 😄

Been wanting to go down to 15 inch rims for a while and the Toyos went on sale this 4th of July. Absolutely loving the look and the handling on dirt is incredible. If anyone is thinking about doing the same, absolutely do it! Worth every penny.

4th of July advice

Hello everyone,

Visiting Lake Tahoe for the first time from July 3-5. Wanted to see the fireworks show over the lake. Was just curious for any tips as I’ve heard Fourth of July may be one of the worst weekends to actually enjoy Lake Tahoe. We’re staying at Ballys in state line and want to avoid driving. Is the best bet to walk to lakeside beach? And what time should I think about arriving to secure a spot for me and my family? Any tips or information to make this go as smoothly as possible is appreciated, thanks!

Potential Off-roading Upgrades?

Just recently bought a 2023 Crosstrek and took it on its first camping trip! It was success and had me wondering what future upgrades I could look into for this vehicle. I don’t plan on doing anything crazy off road wise but I do like to do a lot of light off roading and dispersed camping. My main upgrade I’m looking to do is rims and tires. I want to stay away from lifting my car or trimming/modifying my wheel wells however while still getting some all terrain tires. I’ve heard some people going down to as low as 15 inch wheels to fit beefier tires without a lift. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Also as well as other upgrades like skid plates or any other cool useful camping/offroad gear you find useful.

Thanks!!
