A friend of mine has been admitted to a master’s program in Xi’an jiaotong Liverpool university but the university requires the official bachelor’s degree certificate to finalize the enrollment.

The issue is that in France, although the bachelor’s degree has been completed and officially validated, the physical diploma is often issued several months later, sometimes close to a year after graduation. At the moment, he only has an official certificate confirming that he successfully completed his degree.

Has anyone else experienced this when applying to a Chinese university (or another international university)? Was an official graduation certificate or certificate of completion accepted while waiting for the final diploma? If so, how did you handle it?

Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

J’aimerais savoir si d’autres personnes ont déjà rencontré ce problème.

Un ami a été admis dans un master en Chine, mais l’université demande impérativement le diplôme officiel de licence pour finaliser son inscription.

Le problème, c’est qu’en France, notre licence est bien validée et nous avons un certificat de réussite / une attestation de diplôme, mais le diplôme officiel n’est délivré que plusieurs mois plus tard (parfois presque un an).

Est-ce que certains d’entre vous ont déjà étudié à l’étranger, notamment en Chine, dans cette situation ? Est-ce que votre université a accepté une attestation de réussite en attendant le diplôme officiel ? Avez-vous dû faire des démarches particulières avec votre université française ou l’université d’accueil ?
