Hi im looking to buy an amp for solo practice (but thinking of starting a band as a hobby later) and have been looking for a cheap amp to just start of with looking on the used market and i have found a 10W amp, a 30W amp and a 15 watt amp i have elimanated the 30W amp because im concerned about noise complaints from my neighbours and im thinking either 10W or a 15W up until now i have been using an irig with my ipad but the sound quality isnt very good could be my headphones but it just isnt great sounding i understand that the sound quality wont be great on the other 2 but i hope itd be better than the irig speaking of the amps i have been looking a5 these 2:

1. Silvertone BA X (Ive heard silvertones do the job but idk anything beyond that)

2. Ashton BA15

I understand this is a frequent question on this sub and i totally understand if youre sick of it but id thought id ask and hope i get an answer.

Btw the silvwetlne is 50 and the ashton is 80 (both prices in aud)

So i was on the train and some twats were playing audio without headphones. This is a frequent occourance with teens which leads me to think that theres some meme about annoying people. Not only that after i told them to stop they chose to make it louder. If that isnt annoying i dont know what is. Just be respectful to other people. They even claimed to not be playing audio even though i could hear it and it stopped after they got off. Its not that hard to just be respectful just do that. If you have the intelligence to think that this might annoy people then don't do it.

I wanted to ask about tickets for the 50 something tour. I am considering vip but i am tossing between Limelight and closer to the heart. The problem reside with my fianicial situation. I will be seeing them in milian if nothing happens globally, but i have a few things to say:

1. When I first heard rush Geddy's voice didnt do it now I love it but that is something to consider

2. I am a uni student and I am only getting money via a pension. I am trying to get a job but its easier said than done. I'm not entirely sure i can save enough with the flight costs.

3. it may be the only time I get to see them as I live in Australia where rush is not very popular.

3 is the main reason why I'm even considering limelight as it would be nice to have my rush cds signed and meet Geddy and Alex. But I want your honest opinion: should I do closer to the heart or limelight?
