Chicago's Monadnock Building looming over a lone skateboarder.

[Pixel 6] Boston glow [Lightroom]
A late afternoon view of the Federal Reserve Building and the Boston Tea Party Museum from the Harborwalk near Martin's Park
Chicago Water Taxi
On its way back from Chinatown, the water taxi cruises past Polk Street Pier. I learned the names of this pier just now and have never heard anyone say it in the wild. 😎
Sydney Opera House
I stayed near Circular Quay for days but for some reason only figured out this night shot on the last day. This is a long exposure (10s) of the UNESCO World Heritage Sydney Opera House from the Rocks [neighborhood] across the Quay.
[Pixel 6] Chicago River [Silver EFX]
This shot is 3 years old and that building is complete. Having lived in Chicago since 2008, the downtown river views have changed drastically!
[Pixel 6] Spying on the east side of Chicago tall buildings [Lightroom]
I spy a few iconic buildings in this photo. 🔍🔎
[Pixel 6] Summer of George [Lightroom Mobile]
A Chicago tour company runs to boats: The Summer of George and Festivus. I hope they get a 3rd and name it "Serenity Now".
More from Roosevelt Road
This time looking south to the pair of always up bridges: St. Charles Air Line and B&OCT Bascule.
I think both of them are older than 1930, but in 1930 they were both moved to this spot when the river was widened and straightened.
Sunny On One Side
My past panoramas didn't resonate here on ChicagoPics, but that doesn't mean I wont drop another one. 😎
Chicago Skyline from Roosevelt Road
If you are from Chicago its the Sears Tower. I think the fact that no one wanted to call it Willis Tower is why, when the naming rights expired, nobody stepped up. Who's gonna pay money to name a building the locals refuse to use?
Museum Campus Bikeway
... and walk/jog/run way.
I love the textures and light.
Socked In
Views from the Museum Campus lakeshore can be wild!
Streeterville Textures
I like the juxtaposition of the material types.
The shiny one is 500 Lake Shore Drive (497 feet) - opened in 2013.
The taller pre-cast concrete tower behind it is One Bennett (897 feet) - opened in 2019.
[Note: I'm not ignoring 474 North Lake Shore Drive (581 feet) that is partially in frame, its just that I didn't capture it well.)
