My partner and I have been together for 6 years now. We have a daughter (5F) and a son (3F) together. I'm a stay at home mom. We have 6 cats and a dog. This morning I let the dog out of her kennel because she was barking and laid back down. My partner immediately came into the room and started yelling. He told me I need to start getting up when he does or I can "get the fuck out." Mind you he gets up at like 6:30 and I usually get up around 8:30 because of the kids. There are other issues like him getting mad I don't make him breakfast in the mornings. He gets angry about everything anymore. I never have a happy day when he's home. The problem is I have moved to a whole different state (about 12 hours away from my family and friends) to make him happy and he's just angrier. He says I don't put enough effort into things. We currently live in a house with 8 people (us and then the family that lives here) because we're renting a room until we can save up money to rent a place. I'm genuinely confused. This doesn't feel like an okay demand. I don't mind making him breakfast. He never brought it up before. Just exploded on me that I never make him breakfast. I don't want to leave but the last couple of days have been really rough on me. He told me I'm not good to him because I don't message him throughout the day while he's at work (I send him plenty of reels because I think of him all day) and only message him when I need something (yesterday I asked for $6.75 to have groceries delivered because I was sick and couldn't be away from the bathroom for more than a couple of minutes and didn't want to walk in 93° weather that felt like 102°) Despite being sick I still made dinner and I, of course, made him a plate which he did not touch because he decided to clean our room instead. Later when we were putting the kids down for bed he started getting mean and started going off on me about how I do nothing and that he's just dragging me along. Mind you I clean and cook for 8 people now. I also stay at home and take care of our children and animals. I started to do the laundry earlier and he stopped me, saying he would do it. During his rant he claimed he didn't have time to do the laundry, clean our room, eat, and put the kids down. I said "I started to do the laundry and you stopped me." He said "I needed my work clothes done and it was easier to do it myself." Easier than handing me the clothes while I was actively doing the laundry? I don't get it. He made things harder by not asking for any help and then exploded on me. The day before he found his new phone on the floor and acted like it was broken. When I said "I'm sorry. I didn't know it was there" he replied "I know you didn't. I don't expect you to know anything." This hurt my feelings and admittedly made me cry. I ended up leaving and walking to the store to buy the household groceries for dinner that night. He constantly yells at our children, acts annoyed and angry anytime I try to speak to him (one of his complaints was that I never actually speak to him and retreat into my phone. I don't want to talk to him when he's acting like that but at the same time it isn't true because we have conversations about whatever when we smoke), and when he gets angry at me he says vey mean things to me (he has admitted that when he gets angry that he feels like he has to be "fucking mean"). What am I supposed to do? I can't just leave. I have no money. I have two cars in my name but they don't run at the moment. I don't really want to leave but I don't want to continue with this. He says he wouldn't be so angry if I did more. The only thing that he has to complain about is the fact that our room gets a bit messy because I'm busy cleaning common areas, dishes, taking the trash out, taking care of the kids and animals, cleaning litter boxes, etc. We also share a room with our children who have no room for their toys. I'm constantly picking it up but it doesn't stay clean for long. That and I haven't been able to hang our clothes up yet because I've been busy with other things. Again I live in a house with 8 people living in it. Any advice would help. Leaving isn't an option due to being 12 hours away from family and no money of my own.
