Temu Cordon Bleu!

Frozen chicken patties on bagels (both made in the toaster) with ham, cheese and mayo. It may void the warranty or even be dangerous, but I put the toaster on the highest setting and put the patties down twice in a row.

My wife is out of town, which always exacerbates my bipolar depression and this application is almost zero spoons.

What's your fool-proof method of carmelizing onion?

I want to get them to deep brown and can never get past yellow, even with long times and low temperatures. I have a gas stove, cast iron skillet and dutch oven, plenty of other stovewear (both non-stick and stainless) a toaster oven, an instant pot, a Ninja 3-in-1 crockpot, a more traditional crockpot, and all the time in the world.
