Built a PWA that streams podcasts and internet radio in a single broadcast timeline

Sharing since this is squarely a PWA project. Installable to your home screen, offline app shell via a service worker, everything client side and stored in localStorage. No login screen, no backend account system.

The actual feature is you build a timeline of podcast shows and live radio stations and it plays them back to back like an old radio show, refreshing each podcast block to that show's current episode when it plays.

Happy to talk through any of the PWA plumbing if anyone's curious. https://airsona.io

Airsona: open source PWA that turns podcasts and internet radio into one continuous broadcast

Been working on this for a while. You drag podcast shows and live internet radio stations onto a timeline, hit play, and it runs straight through like an old radio broadcast instead of a queue you have to babysit. Each podcast block grabs that show's actual latest episode when it plays, so a broadcast you build once stays current.

No accounts. Everything lives in your browser's local storage. Code is up here: https://github.com/njf520/airtime

It leans on free CORS proxies to fetch podcast RSS feeds since browsers can't request those directly, so occasionally a feed hiccups. Would love eyes on the code or a bug report if something breaks for you.

C120 cameras only work live

I have 2 C120 cameras. Both brand new. I have an H500 hub with a 1TB SSD. I have one camera recording 24/7 and one only recording when it sees motion.

I can see both of them live in the Tapo app on my phone. But, when I go to "Playback & Download" they both say "No recordings" so I can't scrub back in time. For both cameras, the SD card is chosen next to the date. I don't have an SD card in either of them. When I choose the cloud icon, it wants me to add my device to Tapo Care, which I don't want it to do.

The H200 sees the SD drive and says it has 214GB of recordings.

Any advice?

Doing a tequila tasting but...

...I don't know a lot about tequila. 😄

If I wanted to spend $125 on 2-3 bottles, what would you recommend? (One should be anejo since I know one of the tasters really likes that.)

Thanks!

I know next to nothing about mezcal. But, when in Mexico, I had some Origen Raiz Cenizo Durango Mezcal. It runs about $95 a bottle. I'd like to find something similar but less expensive. Derrumbes Durango has been recommended to me as being similar.

What did I like about the one I tried in Mexico? Very smooth, sippable, without a lot of burn. I didn't mind the slight sweetness at all.

It was not very smokey. I didn't mind that but I'd be fine if the smoke level were higher, too.

Is Derrumbes Durango a good one for me to try? Any other suggestions? Would be happy to spend $40-$60, say, on a bottle. I live in California and have access to many good stores, including K&L.

Thanks!
