Are any of the 503a compounding pharmacies conducive to having your tirzepatide prescription provided by your in-person PCP instead of a telehealth company? In my case, I am on tirzepatide mainly for its anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular benefits, with a slow rate of weight loss as a welcome side effect. My doctor already knows my situation, and would also support my access to tirzepatide in maintenance mode, if/when I reach my ideal weight. It's been mentioned here that pharmacies might offer the best prices for prescriptions from telehealth companies, but otherwise there is little mention of someone's PCP providing a prescription to one of the compounding pharmacies.
