I found love in everything that arrived with her
Trust me, I have been in love. I liked the view I had of you when you scrolled through your phone to show me a photograph from your gallery. You were looking at the screen, and I was looking at you. I think that was when I fell for you.
I noticed that whenever I was with you, I would open my notes app and start writing about you. I think that was when I fell in love once again. This time, it was not only with you.
>The heel you placed first, then the next one.
Oh, you hated spice.
The broken streetlights.
The corner of the city.
The absurdly cold chai.
The guitar tune that was a little too high.
The differential equations you couldn't solve.
You know, I learnt maths all over again just to teach you.
That is when I fell in love with maths too.
You made it to my Notes app. Does that mean I can count on you? A love that is mine, forever and true.
>And when you love someone, you know how to find them everywhere. In little things. In songs and colours you once hated. In rattling of leaves and squeaking of mice which sounds kinda mellifluous to your ears because her memory contaminated them. You begin to think the universe has something to do with you. And it is in these observations that you find you not only fell in love with that person, or even with the version of them you have in your head, but with everything that arrives with them too.
>You love the way her bangs fell over her cheeks.
The way she rests her head on your shoulders.
The way she walks a little faster so as not to fall behind you.
The way she locks her eyes with yours.
Everything unrelated to her becomes a part of her too.
All this, and still you say I just didn't fall for you. How could I not?
If I lived in a hundred worlds, in everyone of them, I found you. I loved you in this world. I'll love you in some other world too.
