As I tested, it can support up to 45 steps of distance in open backyard. And posts can be synced between two devices. It's still in development with some small issues, but basic features are there already. Here's the apk for testing:

I vaguely recall that many years ago there was a website, that did nothing but just to stay online based on donation. The main page basically described the purpose of the site, and the amount of money collected, and how long it lasted already. Anyone remember the site's name or if it still living?
