Considering a 2017 T8 with 100,000 miles, what I should I be looking out for?
I have been trying to keep up with the reviews and complaints, but worried i may be missing something.
Maintained records:
-I’m guessing timing belt is due at this mileage
-any other biggies?
Failures:
-been reading about the AC problems, expansion valve failure I believe. Odd part to fail in a system, but it seems there are two separate AC circuits, with potential failure for the front and rear refrigerant lines, very expensive repair. Is this a problem for the 2017 T8? Any quick check here? I suppose the problem could be masked by a seller by recharging the AC system to make up for the leak in the short term.
-air suspension? I have never owned a vehicle with air suspension before. Not sure what to look out for, the failure rates, etc, but I assume it is a costly repair.
-battery pack?
-any other big issues to look out for?
Thanks for any help you ask can offer.
(Edited to add air suspension and battery pack to the list of potential concerns)
