I want to get into automotive advertising, is this a good technical showcase?

Hi, this is my favorite subreddit for 3D, so here goes my question:

i spent the last 8 months building my best work yet as a portfolio piece.

(Not for self promotion)

I found a sponsor that could make it happen in high resolution, aiming to attract either car brands for commercial cinematic productions or major European studios.

I know it's faaaar from perfect and many flaws I had to leave; partly because a lot of my progress was lost due to system and software instability. But anyway.

Do you think it stands a chance in attracting high end clients? What would your strategy be for getting your name out there in front of these kinds of prospects?

Engagement on both Instagram and YouTube has been high, which shows people care. But is that actually going to get me noticed where it matters, or is it just internet noise?

Potential positions I'm targeting:

Technical Artist

Rigid Body Animator

Lighting / Shading / Look Dev

Houdini Artist / Generalist

Ideal clients include (but are not limited to):

Automotive brands

Brands with physical products (technology, mechanical, etc.)

Thanks for taking the time!

Would this piece get me hired at a major studio or contracted by a brand, please be real with me. (5+ years freelance B2B)

Need For Speed™ 2027 WANTED UNDERGROUND - Official Trailer

This is my fan made recreation of NFS Underground's famous trailer, in the style of NFS Most Wanted.

These two games have defined a good chunk of my childhood, which kinda let me justify the insane amount of time and effort went into this. About 8 months.

Can't wait to read your impressions!

NFS UG trailer remake, in the style of Most Wanted.

Last summer I posted the draft version of this project on instagram. It's gone nuts.

But here, I just wanna explain what are the brands that replaced "EA Games" and "THX" mean.

The first one, Render network is a render farm that had gifted me credits to allow me to render this project, without frying my single GPU. (which it did anyway). This stuff was heavy.

The second, I created this project under the name of litcandle, as it is my small (for now) creative studio, and wanna put that name out there, so I can keep food on the table out here.

Otherwise, this is a complete 1 man job that took about eight months. Mainly because of some technical issues, and sometimes life getting in the way.

The end result is in 4K Ultrawide, and in HDR too. Though, if YouTube doesn't process it, I might do something else.

I can't wait to share it this Friday 15th.
