Do you have a favorite band and album? Do you attend live concerts?

I was listening to a gaming podcast recently, and was a bit shocked to hear that one of the hosts doesn't really care about music that much (but does listen to it). They struggled to think of a specific favorite artist and couldn't remember the last time they attended a live concert. They just ultimately seemed indifferent to the specifics of music, but still had music (OST's mostly) on as background sound or for workouts.

This got me wondering how many AI Music enthusiasts are also fans of specific music artists and attend live concerts. Is AI Music just a fun side interest, as a fan of music in general? Or do you find yourself just playing whatever is on (within specific genres--or not), and now AI Music is able to infinitely generate genre specific "background music"?

When Xbox originally unveiled the Series X, there was no mention of Series S. All of their marketing hype was directed towards Series X and the race towards being the most powerful console on the market. But then they eventually announced the Series S closer to pre-orders going live.

Do you think they will continue with this strategy? I kind of feel like they will. Maybe not exactly the same situation, but similar. Because Helix seems like it will be such a high price machine, that it will be counter intuitive to their current trajectory of reframing the vision of the brand as a "console" for the console market. But I can't imagine the larger "console market" being okay with paying over $1,000 for a console. So, I can only imagine that there will have to be something closer in power parity to the leaked PS6 specs that comes in around $800.

Thoughts.

I'm so glad I gave the demo a try on a whim. That got me very interested in the potential of this game. And IMO it 100% lived up to the potential I saw in the demo. This is my wildcard game for GOTY. I don't think it'll win the actual awards. But this game came out of nowhere for me, to be one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a while.

Anyone who is still on th fence, don't hesitate. This game delivers from start to finish (and what a finish). 👏

So, recently I saw a couple of posts about the show From come across my feed on Reddit. An article and bunch of commenters praising it on the level of Lost and Severance. This caught my interest, so I searched around to see where I could watch it. Turns out, MGM+ happened to be previewing the entire first season through Amazon Prime, which ends in a day or two.

Sus timing and sus praise, because (based on the first season) the show fucking sucks. Like, SUCKS, sucks. It's absolutely terrible. How in the fucking hell could any serious person think that this pile of shit is on the level of Lost or Severance?

Every character sucks, the acting sucks, the core mystery is unintriguing, the mystery is poorly paced and uninteresting, the production level is near Sci-Fi Original territory, etc. It's all just so goddamn bad.

Does anyone actually think this show is good? If so, why?
