I just got an RTX 5080 AMP Extreme Infinity one week ago, very happy with it for having a stable overclock with 12% uplift (with 9784 score in Steel Nomad and 10284 in Speed Way, it nows peforms as same as an RTX 4090)

I want to ask people who had bought this card since its release (probably Jan or Feb 2025), how is it doing until now? Is there anything broken or RMA so far?

This time it’s a Zotac RTX 5080 AMP Extreme Infinity, before this I used to have Astral 5080 and also Astral 5090. (Pls don’t ask why I switched to a lower brand, I just like playing with hardware and compare them.)

I got this card for $1362 and it’s an overclocking beast, achieving 10284 score in 3DMark Speedway, very close to my 5080 Astral (Legendary score 10417 after OC), 1.2% difference for 432$ less (the 5080 Astral currently costs $1794 in my region)

The average performance uplift is 12%, tested in 8 modern AAA games at 1440p All Max, DLAA, No FG.

I’m currently stable at +3000 Mem, +350 Core and +11% power in MSI AfterBurner.

This card is silent as long as you don’t overclock it. If you overclock, it will become a bit loud during game (but definitely not as loud as to the point it can cause you uncomfortable)

No coilwhine so far or it’s so low I can’t hear it (my hearing is very sensitive)

The only downside of this card is may be it just doesn’t look as good as an Astral 5080 and it looks small.
