[A1100GGV-8JF] Fun one!

I’ve been a fan of the A1100 design for a while and recently came across this model which was originally an exclusive in Japan. I live in the US but got lucky and found someone who was selling one lightly used.

The steel case+band for this model is more of a ‘gunmetal’ color than the more common A1100D-1VT, and the area around the display is mirrored instead of black. It produces some really fun reflections (photo 2 is under a tree in my backyard) and overall I think the look is a little more cohesive. The only drawback is that this model doesn’t do 24 hour time, but the cool factor outweighs it in my opinion.

More all-metal Casios!

The Fullcast but for soccer? Does this exist?

The “Alabama or England” postulate would suggest that there is a similar podcast out there, likely based in the UK or Ireland, which covers the world of soccer with the same depth, authority and sourcing that we have come to expect from the Fullcast. Can anyone confirm?

Any other tax dodgers perk up when Tom mentioned this guy on today’s episode?

I didn’t realize that one of the most intimidating hitters of the 1990s was also a strong defender of Douglas Haig.
