Tonight, HoB Chicago! Who’s going?
Tonight is finally here. House of Blues is my favorite venue in Chicago. Let’s end the tour the right way! Who’s going?

I’m going to Chicago and had held off until now checking out any videos or anything of the set. Noticed there are two extra touring members this go around. One is rocking a xylophone! Other appears to be handling keys/synths and some vocals.
Anyone with more musical insight that can elaborate further? Curious what additional instrumentation or other tools are in use for this kind of tour.
I think after a few years of upgrading piece by piece, I have reached a setup I am fully satisfied with. Last piece of the puzzle was the recently added dac that really in my opinion brought it all togther.
System is: Eversolo A6 for streaming source, Schiit Gungnir 2 DAC, Atoll IN300 integrated, Dynaudio Heritage Special speakers, and a Kef KC62 sub.
All components work great together. I have zero complaints or feel anything is lacking in the final product.
Just felt like sharing. Happy listening everyone!
As the title says my Gungnir 2 arrived today. Setup was seamless as expected. Also let me move some components around. Unit is beautiful in person, fits great on the wider shelf. Let me move my streamer to the smaller center shelf.
Obviously need to get some seat time with it before being able to provide some feedback. It replaced a Bifrost 2/64.
I think this will complete my setup for a while.
Entire chain is: Eversolo DMP A6 on streamer duty, Gumby 2 to Atoll IN300 via xlr, outputting to Dynaudio Heritage Special Speakers. Also have a Kef KC62 handling below 50 hz.
Fun little story I thought I’d share and see if anyone has something similar.
So I was posting in another sub about a new piece of audio gear I added to my stereo (a tube buffer). In the picture a small part of my physical music collection, namely the color spectrum complete. Guy commented that he likes to analyze photos and pick up on small things so he searched out what it was. Eventually he learned what it was and said he enjoyed his initial sampling so I gave him the high level summary and sent him on his way.
Not gonna lie, kind of jealous the experience they are going to get discovering the catalog from scratch.
Buf arrived today. I put it between my Bifrost 2/64 and Atoll IN300 integrated. I also kept the xlr out to the integrated for easy input swapping. Honestly not sure I can hear much a difference doing some a/b back and forth. Do tubes need to burn in at all?
Rest of the chain is Eversolo A6 doing just streaming duties and Dynaudio Heritage Specials as the speakers.
