Adventure Cat Terrified of People

Adventure Cat Terrified of People

Hey Folks!

My boy Falcor is a silly little man. He demands walkies multiple times a day and wants to explore, but is terrified of people. Other cats, fine. Dogs, contextually fine. Cars, to be avoided but not too scary. Humans? BRINGERS OF THE APOCALYPSE.

I've considered getting him a stroller to take him on more stimulating walks without the fear of him bolting out of his harness, and slowly training him out of it. Has anyone had this same experience? I'd love to be able to take him places without worrying he's going to panic at the sight of another human.

Corn Ice Cream

One of my favorite late summer treats is corn flavored ice cream. I discovered it in Beijing 15 years ago.

Does anybody know where I could find some in town???

The last time I was down south and went to Ranch 99 I looked there, but they did not have corn flavor.

Best Bellingham Cold Lunches

Hey Hamsters,

I'm enjoying one one of my favorite hot weather meals and I thought it'd be fun to share our favorite noms for hot days like today.

Right now I'm eating some bun cha at Pho Ly, a cold noodle dish that's served with a cold dressing. It's amazing!

I also love Oishii for their sushi and Old World Deli for a superb sandwich. And obviously Mallards Ice Cream.

What do y'all like to eat on a scorcher around here?

Secure courier to Bothell or extremely fast shipping?

I just drove home from from Bothell to Bellingham to discover my best friend's wallet in my rental car

I cannot drive it back to her tonight and she needs it to fly home on Saturday

Taking any and all suggestions.

ETA: LOL, we figured out that our best option is her mom just driving up to get it for her. Kudos to moms! ❤️

Best Way to Get to Seattle Pride

Hey All!

The sweat blanket has been invited to march with some folks in the Seattle pride parade this year.

I have a 2012 Nissan Leaf so driving myself there isn't really an option unless I rent a car. I'm just curious how other folks get down there who also can't just drive themselves. I'd also be interested in joining a ride share but totally understand if you don't want a stranger just hopping in your car!

Thanks!

Rainbow Hair!

This is my 4th or 5th time doing rainbow hair by myself. I am not looking to achieve salon results, I'm just having fun for Pride and the summer! I usually shave it all off after.

Thank you to the person who recommended the new lightener that I used, it worked much better than what I was previously using!!

Preparing for Rainbow

Hello reddit,

Rainbow season is upon us and I am feeling the urge to dye my hair rainbow. This is something I have done several times over the course of my life. I have always done it with at home products which I know is terrible for your hair. I've also completely shaved my head in between rainbows and regrown my hair.

Right now I have the longest hair I ever had and it is completely natural I haven't dyed it at all. I don't have a ton of extra income but I am wanting to do high quality rainbow hair. I am considering going to a salon to get it lightened and then doing the rainbow colors myself.

I love any advice on the topic including, product recommendations.

I will comment with photos of my previous rainbow hair.
