First time hosting- concerns

As the title says- I’m hosting this year’s thanksgiving for the first time in effort to bring together my and my bfs family. I’ve always wanted to host a holiday at my home so I’m super excited.

Problem #1, I have a small oven. So Im probably going to be cooking days before and freezing/reheating because my oven is just smaller than what I’m used to. (I moved this year). Any tips are so appreciated!

Problem #2, how are y’all keeping food warm?? Like what’s your thanksgiving day routine lol?

And also, what is a must have at your family’s thanksgiving giving?

Thank you!!

Is it possible to host a mail club on SS?

I’m starting a snail mail club and every one I’ve come across uses Shopify. I have squarespace and I’m most comfortable with it. Shopify confuses me. Does squarespace allow a subscription physical product or should I just bite the bullet and switch to Shopify?

Common cold symptoms after being glutened

Every time I get glutened, I find myself with common cold symptoms about a week/2 weeks later. Usually starts with a super sore throat. Does anyone else experience this? It sucks because I usually have to take off work after getting glutened and then once I start getting better, a cold just hits me!!

On the bright side, I no longer get sick every other month. Really just when I eat gluten.

Dairy Queen?

Since Wednesday, I’ve been having stomach aches and nausea. I’ve also been (TMI) going #2.5 a lot. Well #3.

I’ve also had a lot of anxiety like the kind I get from eating gluten. So I’ve been trying to track down what it could be and on Tuesday I had a smoothie from Dairy Queen. It didn’t have any gluten in it but is it possible that there is cross contamination? I also had chili from a dry chili mix but that was labeled gluten free. I just don’t know what else it can be.

I hate this feeling of constant anxiety and exhaustion after getting glutened. Does anyone else feel like their heart rate goes up after eating gluten?

Birthday retwist

I’m about 1 year and 7 months! I’ve been living by the beach so the sun and saltwater is doing wonders for my hair.

Help with peel and stick tiles!

So we pulled up some really ugly carpet and there was obviously carpet glue under it. We have been trying to remove it but it’s a struggle. Does all of the glue have to be removed in order to put peel and stick tiles over it?

We have a peel and stick primer for our tiles. We’re also going to patch up any concrete spots that are cracked. Here’s photos. Please be gentle, we’re new to home improvement lol.

loving my loc color recently (1.5yrs)

I dyed my hair back in March before moving and I’ve been loving how they’ve been fading. I probably won’t dye them again until winter :)

I made a bunch of jewelry for my states art museum!

I focus a lot on real crystals, pearls and handmade charms! The charms take forever to make but I’m so proud of them. 🪼🌷⭐️🐚🐛

Would you wear any of these? Also if you have any questions about what crystals are what, please ask!🔮

Can landlord withhold security deposit? {NC}

So my partner and I moved out of Raleigh in March and we’ve been waiting on our security deposit of $3k. We called our previous landlord and he said that he’s deducting $300 because there were a few scuff marks on the wall (not dents just marks) and he had to vacuum.

He also said that the toilet was stained. It was stained when we moved in but we didn’t get photos of it previously because we weren’t thinking about it. It was one of those stained that was impossible to remove.

We also cleaned like crazy and it’s just a bummer that he hasn’t sent the deposit AND that he’s goin to withhold some.

We mentioned that we felt it was unfair especially because our over exploded in November and he didn’t fix it until February. He responded “well i didn’t break it but i fixed it” and I told him that I think it exploded because our heater broke and it was super cold that day.

Anyway I’m rambling but I was hoping some of you can give me some advice on how to handle this situation.

Should I just deal with the $-300? He also got sassy on the phone with us which just bothered me lol.
