I live with my goyfriend (his words) and I’m the household cook. I often go grocery shopping on Saturday evening, so I was talking over next week’s dinners with him. Poor fella is sick, so he asked me to make chicken noodle soup. No problem! Then he asked if I could make Matza balls.

i tried to make matza balls one (1) whole time in my life, and the end result was so disastrous that I gave up on trying ever again without supervision. They fall apart in my fingers! I told the goyfriend that I couldn’t make matza balls. he teased, ”It’s like I’m dating a goy!”

Now, we tease each other about our ethnicities all the time. But this? This is a bridge too far!! This is a matter of Jewish honor!!!!! It is ABSOLUTELY VITAL that I learn how to make knock-your-socks-off matza balls in the next 24-48 hours. Help me, Reddit! What recipe should I use? What advice do you have?

So I just got the Lex Imperialis and Infinite Museion DLCs at the same time. Quite a lot to learn! I’m feeling my way through, but Eogunn has me baffled. I can’t equip him with armor! How the hell can I bring him onto the battlefield?! Even back lines need armor!

I can also tell that he has capabilities that other characters don’t, I think it’s related to the augments system? But the game never really explains how that works. There’s the galvanic gun, of course, but how do I maximize that power? Or am I supposed to switch it out for more powerful augments?

Help! I really like Eogunn, but I’m afraid to take him anywhere!

Thousands of GIs returned from the American occupation of Japan with a Japanese bride in tow. How were they and their children treated by their in-laws? Did they try to connect with the Japanese-American community? Were they able to stay in touch with their family in Japan?

The whole point of Liberia (from my understanding) was to send African-Americans back to where they “belonged.” But these matters are never so simple. I know that the African-Americans never fully integrated into the local people’s, because their descendants are a distinct group today in Liberia. So, what happened? Were relations peaceful? Hostile? Did any African-Americans try to find the ethnic groups their ancestors had come from?

I took him to a field to run around and he disappeared into the undergrowth for a while. My partner is now covered in rashes in all the places where he hugged and cuddled the dog (for some reason, it's not affecting me). Soooo...yeah. Any suggestions for cleaning those plant oils off dog fur? I know it takes more than soap and water to wash the oil off of humans, so I'm worried his regular shampoo and conditioner won't do the job.

Edit: after further discussion with my partner, I'm a bit worried that the dog got a rash himself on his nose. He's been scratching it more often. :( If anyone can recommend something good for calming irritated skin, I'd deeply appreciate it.

Friends, Greenvillians, countrymen, lend me your ears. My boyfriend is jonesing HARD for really good hot dogs. Hot dogs with chili and relish. "Gourmet hot dogs," he calls it. He is Texas born and raised; DELICIOUS BEEF is a key part of his diet. We've been able to find some solid burger joints and steak places, but hot dogs? So far, de nada.

Please recommend me your best hot dog places. Memorial Day was a complete bust. I weep for my poor, hot dog-deprived boyfriend. He is a very sweet fella and I want to get him his beloved dogs.
