Intuit Academy - QuickBooks Live or TurboTax Live more likely to hire someone with no experience?

I’m trying to choose between the QuickBooks and TurboTax certification paths on Intuit Academy, as from what I understand you have to pick one/can’t work for QuickBooks Live and TurboTax Live simultaneously.

So, does anyone know which of these options is more likely to hire someone with no relevant experience (beyond completing their certification program)? And are there any other factors I should consider when making this decision? Any help would be much appreciated

Bachelors in math?

I posted the other day about deciding between a bachelors in accounting or information systems. I’m realizing now that another viable option for me is a bachelor’s in math (concentration in statistics/data science) - I’m thinking I could also pass the preliminary actuarial exams while in school and try for an actuarial job once I graduate, and I’d have the fallback of more general data science/analysis or maybe finance or programming jobs if that doesn’t work out. I’ve also read that math should be a pretty safe major in regards to AI though I’m not sure I quite understand how. I am concerned that the career path seems a bit more uncertain than something like accounting, as I don’t have much of a network to tap into for internships/jobs (though I’ll be trying to change this of course). Curious as to what other people think of this major in general?

Bachelor’s in accounting or information systems?

On one hand, I think I have more genuine interest in accounting, and at least in the pre-AI world it had very low unemployment and the CPA track looks like one of the clearest paths to a high income with just a bachelor's degree from a state school. But I am worried about AI making this a much less promising occupation, as it seems very standards-based and I could see automation eating up a lot of opportunities.

On the other, information systems also seems interesting and to pay pretty well once you break through entry level, and I could see AI creating as many opportunities in this field as it takes away (someone has to maintain the data centers after all, and oversee/advise on the implementation of AI in businesses, etc.).

Curious as to what other people may think of the pros and cons of these two majors?

Any entry-level certs worth it other than CCNA?

Hello, I’m about a year or two away from earning a BBA in Information Systems, and I’m thinking of also earning some certs in that time in order to help bolster my resume/improve my odds of quickly landing a job once I graduate.

I’m pretty confident I’ll go for a CCNA, from my research it seems this is well-respected and yet also not too crazy for someone with no direct experience to get (I’ve just started the Jeremy’s IT Lab course).

Is a CCNA enough? Or in my situation are there other certs I should be looking into as well?

It seems to me that opinions on CompTIA are pretty mixed (maybe not for Security+ in terms of DoD jobs, but I don’t think I want to work there). I was also looking into Azure certs, but my impression is that AZ-900 isn’t something people take seriously and yet AZ-104 doesn’t really make sense for someone with no experience. And I was thinking of getting the MO-211: Microsoft Excel Expert cert, since I like messing with spreadsheets and it’s pretty cheap anyway, though again I’m not sure anyone really takes it seriously.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks

Anyone Know Where to Take the Public Speaking DSST in the DMV Area?

I've been calling/emailing around, but can't find seem to find anywhere near me that offers this exam - has anyone in the area managed to take this test recently? If so, where?

Someone just quit, opening up a spot in my league. As you can see in the image of the full roster, this team has some elite assets in Bijan Robinson, Lamar Jackson, and Tyler Warren as well as some pretty good additional pieces like Jared Goff, Malik Willis, Jordan Addison, Courtland Sutton, Mike Evans, Josh Downs, Jayden Reed... no first or second-round picks for this year, but the league is pretty active with trading in case you want to blow this team up and rebuild... $25 dues still need to be paid for 2026 and 2027 (we use LeagueSafe)... league is superflex, half-PPR, tight end premium, start 11... if anyone is interested please let me know
