Decided to defer SQE2 till January

I had to listen to my gut and defer my October sitting. I don’t feel ready and don’t want to risk losing £3100 in the process. My main concern was my cv looking bad with the gap but it’s for a good cause!

For those who sat SQE2 after deciding to do it the next sitting

I have one day left to pay for my SQE2 sitting in October however I’m so anxious and don’t know if I should delay it to January.

So my question is was delaying it to the next sitting worth it? And did it feel like the right choice?

Any advice will be amazing right now

SQE2 revision tips?

Hi so I’ve recently passed SQE1. I’m now revising for the SQE2 exams in October which is 3 months away. I started studying last month and am currently studying from 9-5 Monday to Saturday

My plan for the 4 months is:

Month 1 - go through the specification and write notes since my flk knowledge is not fresh ( basically finished this)

Month 2 - do templates for each station for the first half of the month and then second half start mocks

From second half of month 2 till two weeks before exam - do practice questions for each station as many as I can

Two weeks before exam - refresh on flk knowledge

I’m open to any feedback on if this is the right way to go about it

SQE 2 revision feedback

Hi so I’ve recently passed SQE1 (flk2 on second attempt and flk1 on third attempt) I’m now revising for the SQE2 exams in October which is 4 months away. Currently studying from 9-5 Monday to Saturday

My plan is:
1 month - go through the specification and write notes since my flk knowledge is not as fresh

2 month - do templates for each station

3 month and half way into 4th month - do practice questions for each station as many as I can

Last two weeks before exam refresh on knowledge and template structure

I’m open to any feedback on how I should go about this or any opinions as I really want to pass!

Gastric bypass on NHS

Hi! So I’ve just had my first appointment which was a Q&A group session and have also received two appointments within the next 2-4 months. I have a bmi of above 35 around 35.7 and don’t have any weight related conditions other than the usual aching body, struggling to breathe, heavy and irregular periods and being constantly tired. I was wondering whether anyone has a similar background and was approved by MDT for surgery considering I don’t have a weight related condition?
