Side note to the main drama of tonight's episode, but David absolutely cracked me up the whole way through. The way he was with Sarah, his laughing with Eva in the pub towards the end and all his facial expressions during Jodie and Ryan's date 😂 made the episode for me! It's these little details that I love in Corrie when they put them in.

So, theoretically, if Sarah had done the right thing and called the police when Theo fell off the scaffolding instead of covering it up, would she actually be convicted of anything? It wasn't exactly self defense because she hit him before he did anything physical to her but even so, he was threatening her and his previous behaviour was enough for her to fairly assume her life was in danger.

Any lawyers on this sub? Or just other fans with random theories 😂 what do you think? Would all this have been totally fine if she'd just called Kit / the police instead of Gary?! Or would she be screwed either way?

Are we REALLY back to Maria getting jealous yet again for Gary showing support to Sarah?! Maybe I'm in the wrong here but Gary and Maria got married 6 years ago. He dated Sarah for 3 years and yes they were a great couple (as is often mentioned on here) but they've pretty consistently maintained a friendship ever since. I dunno....would you not think Maria would be ok with their friendship by now? My partner and I are both friends with at least one ex and like...it's fine 🤷🏼‍♀️ 9 years into our own relationship any potential weirdness or jealousy over that is long gone!

I suppose the writers have often portrayed Maria as being quite insecure so maybe it makes sense for her character but I find it a bit boring tbh 😂
