In 2018 I was a victim of sexual assault, I’ve just seen there is a 10 year limit on applying for victims of crime assistance and I am finally in a space where I am feeling more strong and empowered for justice. The day after it happened I made a statement to police in Dandenong, followed by a r*pe kit, they took my clothes as evidence, photos of my injuries etc, would this evidence already be destroyed or is there a certain timeframe it is held? at the time I was 20, fell into a deep depression and ignored any follow ups from police and tried to forget about everything, I struggled for a long time to come to terms with what happened as it was very violent, I was strangled unconscious multiple times during the assault and I was held hostage for almost 12 hours until my friend literally broke the door down to save me, all I know is the location was Springvale. - Fast forward to now I have a young daughter and I feel the need for justice. I let this man get away with everything. The thing I’m worried about is how am I supposed to name the person when I can’t even remember the exact location as it happened in a town hours away from where I live, I don’t know the man’s name as he provided a false name. I’m hoping the DNA evidence is still available and somehow matches a database but then I don’t think that’s possible unless the police already had his DNA? I feel useless but I need justice. Tomorrow marks 8 years since this happened and I wish I had of done more earlier, I feel guilt for letting this person get away with this for so long and potentially harming other females. Can anyone help point me into the right direction on where to start or it’s it pointless as I don’t even know the perpetrators details.. has any one been through something similar and found their justice? Please share your stories with me or even message me privately if you are comfortable..

I think a weekly knockout tournament would be an great idea, same starting time each week with blinds increasing each round. Extra bonuses for knockouts ect. Any one else interested?? Share your thoughts 💭
