Hi All! I posted a bit back about spray tan recommendations and I'm back to ask this community for more wedding beauty recs (sorry if this is not the preferred content for this community, but I got more helpful info here than in other forums!)

I'm trying to find someone to do my hair and makeup, and most of the places that have been recommended to me have high minimums that make sense for people with full wedding parties but don't make sense if it's just the bride.

Anyone have a good independent MUA and/or hairstylist to recommend? I've been procrastinating eeeeek! I just need a very natural makeup look and some waves.

Hi all! Trying to line up my spray tan and nails appointments for my wedding next month.

I was thinking of either GLDN or Rainglow for spray tan. Anyone have strong recs for one over the other (based on the quality, duration, rinse time, particular artists, general experience etc)? The appointments for Rainglow are a bit more open, but they don't seem to let you pick a particular spray tan artist (vs GLDN has junior vs senior artist).

For nails I'm mostly looking for someone who can do something understated on my natural nails (probably a muted color with simple design). I don't need a super luxurious experience but do want something that's not going to chip easily... stopped getting my nails done a decade ago because I always ruined them immediately!

As an aside: if anyone has good recs for hair and makeup day of I'm also still looking for this! I don't have a bridal party so most of the places I've looked have minimums that don't make $ sense if it's just for me.

Hoping that some of y'all who have more experience with spray tanning can help me out here as I plan for my wedding next month! I sent a message to the salon I booked with to ask some questions but haven't heard back.

The salon that was recommended to me for spray tans only has appointments on Wednesday (before my Saturday wedding). There's another salon with good reviews that has appointments on Thursday but they don't specify who the appointment is booked with so could be a junior spray tan artist. I've seen lots of recs to get the spray tan 1-2 days before your event. I'm planning to do a trial tan, but if I don't like what my day 3 tan looks like I wouldn't have enough time to do another trial tan at the other salon.

Other factors that I'm wondering about:

- Do nails have to be done before the spray tan? If nails absolutely need to be done before then this might be another argument to switch to the Thursday salon (so I can do nails Weds... I'm worried that I might chip them!)

- I'm seeing mixed info about shaving after a spray tan... is shaving going to wreck a day 3 tan more than a day 2 tan? I assume no but I'm in new territory here. If I shave 24h before the spray tan there's no way that I won't have to shave again before the wedding.

- Do I need to avoid exercise altogether post-spray tan to be safe? I really benefit from exercise for stress relief, ha!
