212th Attack Battalion in accompanyment of Senator Padmé Amidala & Grand Master Yoda on a diplomatic mission to the planet of Alaris, in the Kashyyyk system :)
Hello all!
I've been working on a miniature agnostic, warband-sized, sword-and-sorcery skirmish combat game for some time & have got it uploaded onto Wargames Vault to make accessing the rules easier:
https://www.wargamevault.com/en/product/569708/paragons-warband-combat-across-fantasy-realms
The idea behind PARAGONS is to encapsulate the feeling of a band of fantasy adventurers duking it out against a rival group of warriors; be they adventurers, ne’er-do-wells, mercenaries, ruffians, or vagabonds of any kind and from any sort of setting.
You can create heroes of all sorts of fantastical backgrounds and outfit them to your liking with a plethora of weapons & equipment and, while PARAGONS focuses on a more traditionally Western/Gygaxian fantasy aesthetic, these rules can work great in an Ancient or Eastern setting as well!
The gameplay loop features alternating activations based on the Action Points available to a given model; you will Move across the battlefield, Duel your enemy by splitting an amount of dice into Offensive & Defensive pools in a wager of your offensive power versus your need to defend yourself; you will throw Special Attacks based on the weapon your Paragon wields and conjure magical forces against your foes; you may even use the natural advantages of your Fantastical Origins to eek out the edge against your opponent!
Everything in this document has been written by myself, tested by some of my pals, and reworked a few dozen times - we think it's pretty fun & pretty playable by this point but would love more feedback :D
PARAGON’s rules are uploaded on a pay-what-you-like basis, and please take them for free and have fun with them; I just like writing games! Thank you for taking the time to check it out & if you feel like showing your support, it is greatly appreciated <3

Hello all!
I've been working on a miniature agnostic, warband-sized sword-and-sorcery skirmish combat game for some time & wanted to share it with other likeminded miniature skirmish enthusiasts :)

These rules are free & will remain as such, I just like writing games - thank you for taking the time to check it out!
