Hi! I’m German and would really like to move to Bangalore and work there. I have a bachelor’s degree from Germany, a master’s from the US, and about one year of experience at a Big 4 in IT consulting.

I’m mainly looking at tech, consulting, product, data/analytics and similar roles. I’ve been applying to jobs in Bangalore for a few weeks now, but haven’t received any responses so far.

How realistic is it for a foreigner with my experience to get hired in Bangalore? Am I approaching this the wrong way? Should I apply normally, or are there specific companies or routes I should focus on because of visa requirements?

Would really appreciate any advice, especially from foreigners working in Bangalore or people familiar with international hiring.
