The last week…. I’m not ready to say goodbye

Four years went by so fast. JROTC taught me so much about life. It was fun, it was interesting, and it was hard. It was so hard that during my second year I wanted to quit, and I really thought about not continuing into my junior year, but I decided to stay.

I’m so glad I did because I have made so many great memories and friendships in this program. The instructors have truly been the best, and they all have a very special place in my heart. This program will always have a special place in my heart too.

Next week I only have two classes left, and then it’s goodbye. I’m sure there will be tears on the last day, and that’s okay. I wish I could stay in this program forever, but I know nothing lasts forever. Even though this chapter is ending, the memories, lessons, and people from it will always stay with me.

Thank you, JROTC, for everything, and thank you to all of the amazing cadets who came into my life and made it better. 🤍

Am I addicted? No….

Ghost to the gas station every morning to get an energy drink and then go to school. Will not have any other energy drinks other than Alani, even though she barely tried any other energy drinks. Yeah I know I’m totally not addicted. 😂

I’m unwell 😭

So this sweet boy was my first every client on the app. He was 11 and I walked him for five months every weekday that I could, and he did sadly pass away about a month ago and the owner let me know a few hours after and I just saw this on his profile. I had no idea you could do that. Thank you rover for making me cry….

Had to sadly decline my first housesitting request

I got a house in request yesterday for June 10 through June 19 for 10 animals actually 11 with a bird in the house but I know you can’t add on the app but there was two dogs one was not neutered so that could possibly cause some problems in the other one was protective obviously we were brand new. I was brand new but she had eight cats and she wanted to see if I could lower the cat place, but you know that’s that’s an easy fix, but there was so much pee and so much poop in this house that it was making the walls like bubble up and she said they were getting the carpet out and putting tile in for the upstairs, but I don’t think there’s any way you could get that smell out and I do have someone go with me with every meeting and greet just for safety and my mom said you know what this is not the best so it sucks because this is my first housesitting gig on the app and I do have another client who I had before I started with Rover but I will have to sadly decline and I just want to come on here to see if this is normal. And also to share my experience with my fellow pet sitters and pet caregivers and yes, like I said I do have someone go with me for every booking meet and greet. I should say just for my safety and you know.
