Lucky Charlie's in Bushwick - perhaps the best pizza in the city?

For anyone who has not tried it, Lucky Charlie's is unbelievable. I believe they have the oldest coal oven in the western hemisphere and the pizza tastes like it (in a good way). Incredible char, maybe the best sauce I've ever had on a pizza - its just perfectly tangy but with not too much sweetness.

Ordered a half plain, half sausage and garlic - it is truly a 9.3/10 pizza.

----

My current rankings:

  1. L'Industrie (Burrata slice, Fig jam bacon)
  2. Lucky Charlies (Half regular, half sausage/garlic)
  3. Sally's Apizza
  4. Chrissy's
  5. Mama's Too
  6. Mano's
  7. L&B Spumoni Gardens
  8. Rose's Penn Stations (iykyk)
  9. Luigi's (got a burnt slice but still great, need to go back)
  10. Best Pizza (has fallen off a bit)

final round interview went as well as it could have. have heard nothing after 1 week when they said they'd get back to me in 3 or 4 days. when should I follow up?

basically, on the final round interview I was told that I am a great fit and that they should be seeing me soon. On that call, I was told that I'll hear something in the next 3 days. A week has gone by and I have heard nothing. The interview was last Monday, was supposed to hear something Thurs-Friday. Now its the following Monday and I'm going a bit crazy.

I mean this with no exaggeration, the final round interview could not have gone better - and this is my dream job.

When should I follow up? And is it possible that they just changed their mind out of no where?

Appreciate it!

thoughts on speeding up in studio session (no click)

hey all, I play the drums for a few artists and do a ton of live work (and some studio work). I did a session without a click for this signed artist and sped up about 10 BPMs over the course of the song (3 min song). They seem to like it a lot but it bothers me that it jumped around so much and I didn't get to do a take.

I think it sounds good but the start to finish is clearly different. What your thoughts on this jump?

It started at 121bpm and ended at 131bpm.

[New York] Offered a job in first week claiming unemployment but it pays $60k and not remotely in my field of work. I was previously making $102k. Am I eligible for unemployment if I say I rejected this job?

Did I completely screw myself by applying to this job? It kind of came out of no where and it would be an absolute nightmare if I am unable to claim unemployment because of this. I scoured the website and am struggling to see if this will ruin my unemployment.

It seems ridiculous that it would but I want to see what you guys think.

Thanks.
