I left yesterday, I’ll be back the day after tomorrow. I miss her so much. I have four orange boys who I miss, of course, but Salami? I miss her so much

TLDR: I love pigs and just found this subreddit, so here’s my brood from another life. Pictured: Falcor, My Max, Him, bath time, Billy Mayes, Robot Jr., cohabitation post bath munchies.

Hi everyone, I’m currently pigless in body, but swimming in the little wheekers in my heart.

My first little piggy was My Max. That was his name. Not Max. MY Max. He was a beautiful little abbyssinian with a gnarly little tuft of orange and white. We did everything together! He was so playful and loving. We’d take naps together and I’d wake up to him eating my hair lol. Little stinker (he’s the one with the Christmas stocking).

After that we got Junior, who was a real jerk. Just a snotty teenager. He was always pushing the hierarchy and we couldn’t let him co-habitate but I loved him. He’s the younger smooth orange and white one.

Robot came next, the little black and white smooth. Robot was a funny little dude, or so we thought. One day, there was an extra tiny little piggy, so, she was a dudette. Baby pigs are amazing. They come out wheeking and ready to eat everything. That baby was called Robot Junior.

Next came Optimus Prime, he was a senior citizen we took in for basically hospice. He’d been neglected and his teeth had grown too long, trapping his tongue. He had to get a few surgeries, but we got to hang out with him for about 6 mos before he passed. He’s the solid white boy with red eyes.

We got Billy Mayes, the solid black texel, from the state fair for $50. Absolutely gorgeous and loving little boy! He was the ying to juniors yang.

Hawk and Him both came from an animal shelter near Boston. Hawk is the big boi with the caramel stripe on his back, when he’d get excited, it would actually stick up!

Him was the most gorgeous long haired silkie I’d ever seen. His hair was so long I could braid it. He was such a little lover, VERY dumb. Many baths because he liked to roll around on his watermelon instead of eat it.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE

One day, Robot dudette couldn’t walk because her feet couldn’t touch the ground because her belly was full of babies again. We kept her in her own cage with her first baby in a whole different room, but, nature…uh…finds a way. This time she made FOUR of them! One looked just like Him, and I called him Falcor, absolutely stunning.

After that we sent Robot Dudette and Robot Junior to a safer place with no guinea pig peni.

But, sadly, this was almost 20 years ago. All my piggies have passed or moved on to greener pastures (literally, they got to go live in a non-profit petting farm where they got excellent care).
