Tire busted; is it ok to replace just one tire or need to replace both tires on same axle?

For my Audi Q3, the right rear tire went over a curb, and it popped. There's a hole in the side wall. I don't think it can be repaired and the tire will need to be replaced.

Can I just replace that one tire or will I need to replace the other tire on the same axle? The other non-damaged tire has about 6k miles on it. FYI - The tire size is 255 40R20.

Because Audi Q3 utilizes the Quattro all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, I am unsure if it is recommended to have a mismatch in tread depths since one tire will be newer than other, and it could mess up the Quattro system.

The other problem I am facing is that the current tire is the Michelin Primacy MXM4, but they seem to be on backorder. If I can't find a Michelin Primacy MXM4, then it is advisable to have different models on either side of the axle? (e.g. Michelin Primacy MXM4 on left, and a Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 on the right). This just doesn't seem right.

Would love your thoughts. Thanks in advance!

2023 Q3 Driver Assist malfunctions

For my 2023 Q3, none of the driver assist functions are working. Here are the errors I see in the dash:

  • Stabilization control (ESC): malfunction
  • Hill hold assist: unavailable
  • TPMS Tire pressure: malfunction
  • Parking Aid: malfunction
  • Vehicle starting system: malfunction
  • Audi pre sense: currently limited
  • Traffic sign recognition: malfunction

The problem started after the vehicle battery drained because the car and the AC was ON for a long time while the engine was turned off. A jump start got the battery going, but the malfunctions started immediately after that.

I had the battery checked out at Autozone, and the battery is good.

Do I need to take the car to the dealership (it's still covered under warranty) or is there anything I can do to fix it (I am thinking of something like a software / system reset).

The car (engine) itself runs good. Is it safe to continue driving in this state?

Would appreciate some pointers. Thanks!
