MacBook Air or ASUS Zenbook
Unsure between the M5 MacBook Air or ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED for university

10 core cpu, 8 core gpu, 16 core neural engineer
ASUS Zenbook £699
Intel core ultra 5 225H processor

They’re similar enough in hardware I suppose, and ASUS is cheaper but I want it to last as long as possible; 8 years? I could afford the more expensive option but would rather be smarter with my money.
For context I study psychology so I will mainly do basic stuff like typing essays, using Microsoft office and also use SPSS. And I already have an iPhone and iPad so that could be advantageous. I’m not the best informed in computers and have never used an ASUS device before so any guidance would be very helpful 😁
