Mod post: Revised Community Rules
Hey folks, we've refined our rules and have added a new one (#8). The TLDR on the new rule: no comments accusing CC Suarez of being in a lavender marriage or not being "really" bisexual. Comments of this nature do not meaningfully contribute to criticism of her actions and behaviors, and they facilitate biphobic stereotypes that reduce a whole sexual orientation down to untrustworthiness, confusion, or a phase. We've always had "no bigotry" in our rules, but we've made it its own rule which extends to comments which speculate unhelpfully on sexual orientation.
As a general reminder, while this is a "snark" subreddit, our focus is on documenting and criticizing (and yes, often laughing at) the unethical and outlandish antics of CC Suarez. To remain a trustworthy archive and place for valid criticism, the moderators will remove any comment or post at our discretion which we feel may negatively impact the integrity of the subreddit.
Please familiarize yourself with the descriptions and report potential violations to the mods. If any of this is unclear, or you have feedback, feel free to comment or DM.
1. Be Civil
>Agree to disagree and keep the conversation open. We all know how low CC can get - let’s not take it there. Please embrace the fine art of agreeing to disagree. Debate the topic, not each other - and stay on point.
2. Stay on Topic
>Must be related to Chelsea "CC" Suarez and those within her orbit (and then content and conversation must still be directly about to CC Suarez). This is subject to moderator discretion.
3. No Body Shaming or Overly Harsh Comments on Cosmetic Procedure Outcomes
>While CC enjoys using misogynistic language and harsh body shaming, there’s no reason we need to stoop to her level and do it back. Some critique of changeable appearance elements (hair, makeup, style, filler) is allowed, but keep it within reason and avoid misogynistic tropes.
4. No Doxing / Harassment. Observe But Don't Engage.
>No harassing CC Suarez. Do not tag her in posts or comments, do not share content where you are harassing her on her social media profiles or channels, do not mess with her reviews or advertisers. We observe and critique.
>ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DOXXING. No sharing identifying information or post links to personal information. Block out names and censor faces where necessary. Contact a moderator if you are unsure if it's necessary
5. Do Not Call For Action to Brigade Other Communities or Contact Anyone in Chelsea's Real Life
>This is a digital archive to document CC Suarez's questionable online antics; we do not, as Chelsea herself used to say, "touch the poop." Do not encourage anyone to brigade or manipulate reviews/upvotes/comments/likes on another Reddit community or any other platform.
6. No Money Stuff
>This subreddit has a "no exchange of money" policy, including gofundmes. Please do not promote fundraisers, solicit donations, directly offer financial assistance or buy/sell/trade anything on this subreddit.
7. Trigger/Content Warnings for Sensitive Topics
>Please add trigger/content warnings for sensitive topics such as SA. Ideally you'd use spoiler warnings/text for this kind of material, but any CW/TW will suffice.
🆕 8. No biphobia, homophobia, ableism, racism, etc.
>Criticize and speculate on her behavior, not her sexual orientation. We allow conversation about her inappropriate and invasive sexual remarks and behavior towards others, but casting doubt on her self-identified sexual orientation, or any form of biphobia, does not meaningfully contribute to criticism of her actions.
>Do not use ableist language towards her or anyone else. Don't be a bigot. This is subject to moderator discretion.
