She’s only learned two tricks so far (I only just started teaching her) but she’s 2 years old next month and picked both tricks up within 10 minutes flat.
She’s the sweetest, smartest, heart rat I could ever ask for and I’m so, so, proud.

I always want to post my current 8 rats on here but never do so here are my two (half) wild girls Alan and Weasel.
They’re biological sisters from the same litter, their mother is a domestic rat and their father is a fully wild rat. Obviously, they were not bred on purpose. These girls were rescues.
In the first picture, Alan is the pretty girl on top of little Weasel. I have no idea who is who in most of the other pictures (help, they’re pretty much identical).

Hello, I’m currently at a job with an extremely toxic work environment. Racism, homophobia, ableism, sexual harassment and assault is alarmingly common.
I’ve personally been the target of homophobia, sexual harassment, and sexual assault at this job. Until recently, it was just sexual harassment but, a couple of days ago, I was touched sexually inappropriately by a manager in an area with no CCTV and no one around.
Obviously, I need to quit. I’m too anxious to go in now, I have a shift tomorrow but I just can’t make myself go. I’m thinking of quitting on the spot, I can’t face my managers anymore. However, I don’t have any proof at all, and I know that UC will likely sanction me. I am in the unfortunate situation where I’m not doing well financially even with this job so I can not survive without UC.
I’m basically just looking for tips and the likeliness of facing a sanction. I’m also male and I’m worried about them overlooking the sexual harassment and assault because of my gender. I have messaged them on my journal for advice but I’m assuming that’s not even the right place to contact.

I see people all the time have these giant mixing tubs in the bottom of their DNC, which I assume lowers the mess significantly. I can't find a tub anywhere to fit this and I'm wondering if anyone UK-based knows a tub I could get with good enough dimensions.
Also, any bedding suggestions that are good for rats upper respiratory systems but not as messy as Auboise hemp bedding? This bedding is RIDICULOUSLY messy, wow. I've had this bedding and cage set up for the last two years and, if I go so much as a day without vacuuming, it ends up in every single room, my bed, my shower etc...
Note: I know that perspex is an option but, I'm trying to avoid that route as it seems very expensive. I can afford it but I'm just trying to save as much as humanly possible right now and it's not a complete necessity.
