General Question

I've found someone that wants to buy my account. If they want to do a bank transfer, it's safe to give them my account number and routing number right?

Console Shuts Down After Opening Wii App

Full disclosure, I am trying to homebrew the console. I thought I was following what the guy was doing directly, but when I go to open the Wii App, the console shuts down. If I caused any permanent damage, can you please tell me what to avoid? I have another Wii U coming on Friday, because this one doesn't have a working HDMI port.

Side question, do I need a USB storage device to add Wii/gamecube games to the system, or can I use an SD card.

HDMI port not working

Does it look like there's anything wrong with this HDMI port? I bought it on Facebook Marketplace, and I thought the issue with it was that I needed to change the output to hdmi from component. After getting the converter, it won't let me change the output because it doesn't detect anything. None of the monitors/TVs in my house detect a signal from this port. It looks fine on the inside, so I don't know what could be wrong with it. Does it look weird to anyone here? The seller said it worked when he tested it, and is offering money back, so I don't think he's lying. Maybe I trust people too easily, idk. (I've used 4 different HDMI cables, 1080p sceptre monitor, 1440p aoc monitor, 4k Samsung TV.)
