Iron Hands Saturnine Terminators

Almost done with the Saturnine boxset!

The pictures I took of the step by step did not come out great, but here's at least a list of paints used for the oil slick armor! The rest is just black and silver!

Basecoat: Pro Acryl Magnesium, Dry Brush Pro Acryl White Gold, then AK Pearl.

Airbrush: Light filter of AK Forest Green Quick Gen, just to tint everything green. AK Quick Gen Demon Purple to build up shadows where you want them. All over thin coat of Vallejo True Metallic Metal Shade Aged Metal. Lastly, thin coat all over of Army Painter Speed Paint Brownish Decay with a little black contrast mixed in.

For the airbrushing steps, other than the shadows of purple, go slow and lean towards using less! It's a lot easier to add another coat if you need, but if everything gets too dark you'll need to start over!

Finish with a satin varnish to get the metallic look back. Use some pluck foam and AK Pearl to add random chipping. I used a black pin wash as well, but probably optional.

My first game of 3rd as Iron Hands!

I took too much Vanguard to win on scenario but had a lot of fun grinding out attrition! Opponent had a beautiful World Eaters army!

Budget: $1,500 to $2,000 USD per camera. Separate budget for accessories

Country: United States

Condition: New preferred

Type of Camera: Mirrorless

Intended use: Video

End use: YouTube videos

If photography: what style: n/a

If video what style: Miniature painting tutorials, top down capturing hands and desk while I work. Also battle reports for small scale miniature games

What features do you absolutely need: Filming in 4k for long hours without overheating. Will be alternating between close ups of 28mm scale miniatures and talking head.

What features would be nice to have: New user friendly if possible but I anticipate a learning curve!

Portability: I'll be filming inside mostly, transport to game stores and conventions where lighting might not be the best.

Cameras you're considering: Panasonic LUMIX GH5 II, GH6, S5II. Sony FX30, hesitant to go Sony again after ZV-E10 experience though.

Cameras you already have: Sony ZV-E10, was recommended by local store for 4k recording but overheats consistently even with additional solutions (external battery, attached fan, etc)

Notes: New user! Looking to start producing painting tutorials and battle reports for miniature games like Warhammer and Trench Crusade.

Thank you for your help getting me started in the right direction!
