Wanted to share this experience here, just to see if anyone else has had this glitch.

I used to work at a warehouse a few years ago and sometimes it required very early shifts, so a lot of times I would go in when it was still dark.

One day I had a slighter later shift, I went outside at around 8:31. It was dark outside, like 4 am dark. Since that’s how it sometimes, I didn’t pay attention. I got into my car and pulled out of my driveway, going down to the entrance of my neighborhood.

It was at that moment I consciously noticed how dark it was. I was thinking “huh, that’s weird, it shouldn’t be this dark right now” and went to turn on my headlights— then suddenly a light switch hit and it was morning.

The sun light was instantly brighter. If you’re up early, you know the difference between a pre-sunrise darkness and the brightness of a two-hour post-risen sun. I was so shocked I hit the brakes and sat dumbfounded for a second, I had my hand ON my headlights. I had to move my visor because the sun was just hitting the treetops and was blinding me.

It genuinely felt like a simulation had glitched, and fixed itself the moment I became aware. Like how a game doesn’t load a room until you go into it.

I had something strange happen to me years ago, I recently told someone this story and they think I was completely mistaken, but with what I know about technology now, I think it is possible but I don’t know enough to begin to think of how it’s possible lol, hoping someone can answer!

In 2011, I was sitting on my front porch watching Netflix.com on my laptop, idr the brand rn but it wasn’t a Mac and it had a camera. As I was watching a scene, I hear a man’s voice in like a few garbled/scratching sounds, like a radio, then he said very clearly: “No, here, get her in the frame.”

I laughed to myself and immediately hit rewind to watch it again— They must have accidentally recorded the camera crew talking! I’m thinking “omg! 😂 I can’t believe that wasn’t edited out!”

When I rewatched the last 10-15 seconds again, there was zero garbled sounds, and the man’s voice was not there at all. It was 100% normal scene noises.

I immediately hit pause and looked around: it was night and the man’s voice was so clear and loud, I thought there was someone standing off my porch filming me. No one was there and I had genuinely heard it come from my laptop speakers, it’s why I thought it was unedited chatter from the set. But it wasn’t in the show, I rewatched it and the man’s voice and the static sound was gone.

I know now that almost anything can record/surveil you without you realizing it, and then the more wild stuff like that any speaker could also be a microphone, idk.

This is what’s driving me crazy: even if I was actually being recorded, why would they have a microphone setup on their end that even had the possibility to accidentally broadcast their audio?

I said it was weird lol. I have no explanation. It doesn’t even seem physically possibly let alone logical, but I do know what I heard and idk how the audio was gone when I rewound.

Can anyone shed any light on this? If you know, can someone tell me if that kind of webcam “surveillance” even actually existed in 2011 and also how would it even be possible for someone’s setup to broadcast their audio?

Lol I feel like I saw a pig fly. I swear this happened. Like, I know that isn’t how this works, but I seen’t it! I just need help analyzing what happened. Thank you!
