We need to stop doomposting about Season 4

I think people keep getting wayyyy ahead of themselves when they keep worrying about S4 and whats gonna happen with the show after S3. I think it’s leaning more likely that we will get S4 since so much money has been put into advertisement this year and seeing just how many people were around the PJO stuff at D23 this year.

They likely want to be more strategic about when they announce the next season if they do so right now it does build hype but we already have enough hype from the trailers and the cast doing panels and such. Spreading out the reveal of information about the show such as announcing S4 in November before S3 airs or mid-airing of the show can help bring attention after a likely predicted slump in viewership such as what happened with S2.

The interesting thing is just how much attention the current press has gotten. Just the video of Percy holding the sky has gotten 6.3 million views in 3 weeks as of when I am writing this and the s3 trailer has 2.6 million in one day.

I think the new leadership wants to uphold and keep the franchise going at-least until they have finished all the original series material, focusing on upholding family-focused content with things like Decedents, Camp Rock and other things of that fashion.

Don’t let negative people discourage you or lead you into believing the show is going to fail there are valid criticisms for the show but most of the people posting about how they are wishing s4 doesn’t come to fruition often make irrelevant arguments out of a place of hatred.

Access to Science wanting to go to Uni

Hi! I’m about to do my Access to higher education sciences in September and was seeking some advice for those who have done it before.

I have narrowed down what I want to move onto within University to Biochemistry, Marine Biology and Pharmaceutical/Cosmetic Chemist.

I know it’ll be better if I wittle it down to just one subject but I don’t really know yet what amount of UCAS points i’ll be able to achieve on the course. I only have my GCSE Maths and English at a 4/C but I already am pretty well knowledgeable about biology to a pretty high level and also have existing Health and Social-care qualifications at a level 2. I am newer to Chemistry but my boyfriend who is currently a chemical engineer is going to help me with my coursework. I don’t really know how long i’ll have to choose what I want to do and be able to realistically pin-point what I’ll be able to achieve and it’s worrying me.

Have you ever been blamed for not having friends or not being able to make them?

I’ve been up for a while unable to sleep, I remembered because of seeing some posts online that I have had multiple times where I was blamed or accused of being a bad person or nefarious for having no friends. I am 25 now and have never had a long-lasting friendship irl and have only had long-term friendships online.

I don’t get along well with my step-mother and her daughter and within arguments they have both called out that I am rude and ignorant for being avoidant or not understanding social cues. I have been diagnosed recently but it has came up again a couple of times where I am told I am rude because I didn’t say anything and avoided eye contact when my step-mother was mad at me.

I don’t want to blame it all on autism or claim I am a victim in anyway I am not perfect obviously but I just don’t know why it was something that was always mentioned about me.

Out of work again

Hey everyone,

I have made a post here before about struggling with work, when I made that post I had a job and was trying my best with it even though I was uncomfortable with the workspace. This week my family has been away on holiday and I have been left to look after a family members animals and stay at their house and I have been left really stressed out about it because of having to manage being a lot further away from work. I had to go into work on Tuesday but I had been awake the entire night before because of stress so I ended up calling out on my shift.

Today before work I saw messages on the group chat talking about me, I guess nobody knew I was in the chat and they were asking if I had called out today as-well and saying that my manager should ‘get rid’ of me because she thinks i’ll be absent all the time.

I don’t know what to do, I have little support at home and have been going through a constant cycle of burnout and depression working retail I know I need a councillor and a lot more support and I have started to access it but I just feel so lost.
