Our baby girl Meng has crossed the rainbow bridge

After our mother passed, she became the ultimate comfort for my brother living alone in the province. She always knew how to 'talk' back and loved asking for scratches like a little kid. Saying goodbye is so hard because she brought endless joy to our lives when we needed it most.

I am the one who always pulls the trigger

This is the second time I’ve had to navigate the agonizing choice between fighting for a loved one's life or letting them go. When there is no path to recovery, choosing to stop is heartbreaking, but necessary. As difficult as this is for me, my heart aches even more for my brother, who bears the heaviest burden of watching them slip away.
