Degree got rejected because not on anabin

Like the title says, I recently applied to DIT but my degree got document rejection because it's not listen on anabin even though it's a nationally recognized public College. Has this happened to anyone before? How did you resolve?

I have emailed the admission office but no response yet.

C2 level achieved, first time ilets test taker

I decided to take ilets for the first time on June 9, 2026. My speaking exam was on June 15 and my computer based exam was June 17. My goal was Minimum 7 on any skill.

To give background, I learned English starting from elementary school. The medium of instruction was English throughout my academic career.

Prior to the exam I had taken one practice writing and reading test on the official ilets mock exam. I didn't continue further because they were easy.

I practiced writing the night before the exam. Writing has never been an enjoyable Activity. I used AI to score my writing (I would get 6.5-7.5) and for feedback.

During the day of the speaking exam, I had the videocall format. I would say I had contrasting answers but I tried to focus on expanding on my ideas and giving example

Listening was honestly very easy. The audio was clear, the speech was slow and I focused on reading the question while listening to the audio actively ruling out some choices

Reading was my favorite. I finished the section in 40 min and used the 20 min to double check my answer. There were some tricky questions especially the TFNG. My trick to choosing NG was if I can negate that statement and say no this or that happened its false. If I can't do so, it's most likely NG.

Writing was my weakest skill. I tried to finish my writing in 55 min and use the 5 min for proof reading but I was still short of time. I was told to explain whether a certain phenomenon was positive or negative and I wrote the essay in the lines of it shouldn't be considered negative rather than sticking to a strong positive /negative opinion. I believe that's the reason I got 7.5 in addition to some spelling errors I am used to overlooking or Autocorrecting.

From my opinion I advice you

  1. To find your weakest skill and do drill exercises.

2 Look into model answers and gauge what kind of response would get you higher marks.

  1. Immerse in the language, and practice speaking out loud as if you're being interviewed and give you opinion on random subjects

  2. Don't get distracted while listening, actively try to rule the wrong choices

  3. Keep an eye on the watch but don't let it stress you

  4. Practice reading news, blocks, substacks and Newsletters

  5. Do more mock exams
