Spoiler-y campaign question about something questionable.

I’ve just finished the true ending of the game, and I overall liked it. I figured Bell wouldn’t live to see another day, though I’m still sad about it. But I’m just confused about something. If they were really going to kill Bell when it was all over, why didn’t they just.. leave him in the rubble at the end of the final countdown? They go through all this trouble to find him, just to kill him? Wouldn’t leaving him in the rubble to die make it easier to explain to the higherups? Instead of just one-shotting him on some random cliffside. Maybe they wanted to give Bell comfort before getting her killed, idk. Just confused is all.

Just finished campaign, feeling kinda empty

Heya, just finished the campaign. Out of all the games I’ve been going through lately, this is the one I’ve looked forward to and also known alot about, with really the only story part I knew was that Bell was russian. It’s also my first game in the Black Ops section. Now that I’ve finished it, I feel really empty, like this was supposed to be longer. Maybe I should’ve put it on a higher difficulty, but I finished this in less than 2 days. Is there something im missing? All this praise about it and the story is only, what, 20 hours? I really liked it though, the characters and story were cool. I chose to betray everyone and kill Lazar. I’m not sure if I have to go back through the entire drug portion to tell the truth. Mason and Woods were cool, I knew they were in way older games. I didn’t really like the unequal screentime between Park and Lazar. Park is a constant force, whether it be on radio, showing up and fighting, and she can talk in all 3 briefings. Lazar only shows up a little bit, can’t be talked to in 2 of the briefings, and then fights once. It was just clear to me they wanted Park alive and not Lazar, but to just not even bother with him bothers me. My favorite part was probably either the KGB infiltration or killing my former team. Belikov and Charkov were such good characters that I actually felt sad for killing Char. I’ll stop yapping. Overall, I liked it, just felt a little short and empty. What campaign should I play next?

Ignore my crusty nails. Was screwing around in a goodwill and I stumbled upon this book in the actual book section, not the kids book section. For some reason, I didn’t think that fan-fics could be published. I have obviously been proven wrong. For $2.45 it’s about Springtrap trapped in Freddy Faber’s Pizza, but he can’t remember anything. The Ghosts of his past will make sure he does, based on the franchise by Scott Cawthon’s brother, Steve. I didn’t buy it, believe it or not, I just went to a random page, and the end. The end is a whole can of worms that I don’t think I’d want to read all of it. Purple Guy’s real name is Vincent Purple, he’s patient 87. He’s got DID and one of those is Mike Schmidt. The book ends with two words: Insane Asylum. Absolute Cinema. I’d love to know more if anybody has actually read this strangely.
