Car Shopping - Nissan Owners Advice

I'm in need of some advice. I recently sold my 2020 Hyundai Elantra. She ran beautifully and only had 70K miles, but it was a "hot" car, and I couldn't afford to keep paying $500 deductible fees for theft. I looked into Hondas, but I saw they were also considered very hot cars. Then I stumbled across a 2023 Nissan Altima SV with 60K miles. It has all the features I want, but I guess because I let all the nasty rumors and talking trash about Nissans -- especially Altimas! get into my head, I never truly gave the brand a fair chance.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this vehicle? I'm totally new to anything Nissan, and while I’ve read some generic reviews, I’d like to hear strictly from real Nissan owners about their actual experience with the car. I'm really trying to figure out if this is a reliable move or if I should keep looking, so any honest input would be greatly appreciated!

Used car shopping experiences

I'm just curious if anyone's having somewhat good luck used car shopping. I finally found a beautiful 2020 Hyundai Elantra 75k miles after 3 months of car shopping, and recently, after 8/9 months of driving this car, my back windows were smashed and the ignition totally stripped but they couldn't steal it because of the security update. The cop basically told me this won't stop, and after paying my $500 deductible fee, I'm stressed out because I can't afford to do this again. So, I plan on selling this vehicle, and I'm back on the used car market again. WTH, it feels like prices are more extreme than when I bought my car 8 to 9 months ago. California cars, especially in the Bay Area, are naturally higher, but I'm looking in other states. Dang, they aren't too far behind us, plus everything is holding a salvage title that has a somewhat decent price. I feel overwhelmed after just a week of researching. Can I just add I absolutely HATEE when dealerships/sellers don't list the price or just list the "down payment" price. Like geez stop waisting everyone's time. "Leave with this car today for only $5000‼️" That's such a terrible way to pull people in to buy your old/high mileage $12k car 😂. I hope everyone's search is good better than mine.
