Curious how many people know this face and if anybody knows any relation between this album/artist and the Crimson King of the books.

This is the album cover for In The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson.

I belive its been noted that King was a fan but thats all I've heard.

This is my first time reading through the series. I've read plenty of Stephen King. Been slowly making my way to The Tower. A book here. A book there. I got hung up on this book and put it down twice. Picked it up again each time. But was lost and felt like starting it over. This was over about four years. Life distracts, blah blah..

Anywhoo, I'm glued to it this time. 3rd day after starting and less than 50 pages left. It keeps getting better and better. The feeling of everything big getting more near is so real! But I also feel, at the same time, like I'm missing so much. Much that is important.

I just read the part where Mia asks to see a memory of Suze's mother. Mia's recognition and her response to her reality is what is highlighted (at least that how I took it).

I find myself comparing her actions and feelings against those of Rolands ka-tet as they all get closer to The Tower. Mia having "terrible" questions while the ka-tet willingly accepts what ka wills.🤔🤔🤔

Im finding Mia to seem human and the others to be moving away from it.

Started going through my vinyl again

Hello fellow lovers of discs🫡

I've started cataloging my collection again. I took an unintentional break for a couple years. But that's done now! The discs are spinning and the tunes are playing! Anywhooo, I love Hiatus Kaiyote and found this one in a stack (unopened) and immediately opened and threw it on.

Sooooooo gooood. But I'm wondering how others out there would categorize their music in terms of genre/vibe/what have you.

I scrunch my face when I say it, but for me its moody garage junk(jazz funk, and I ike to listen to it in my garage? shrugs) to which I hip and hop.

Mmhmm mhmmm
