What could this be?

I’ve been playing around with training an AI model to help spot earthworks and features in regional LiDAR data around my local area.

While going through the tiles to train the AI. I spotted these faint linear anomalies and enclosure features.

They lie south of a known stretch of Roman road and I've checked old OS maps to see if a building was once there.

I know it's almost certainly not some grand Roman villa, but it caught my eye and now I'm curious as to what it could realistically represent.

Probably East London, 1930s-1940s

The photo is of my grandmother and an unknown friend. She was born and raised in East London so I'm assuming it's around there. I can see the old London bus in the background and can just about make out a Transport for London logo on the bus stop sign in the top left.

My results as someone who thought he was 100% English! Question about German DNA.

I grew up thinking I was completely English so this was quite a surprise actually.

The most interesting part is the 27% Cyprus result. My dad was adopted and his adoption records never mentioned anything about him being Cypriot. It is really cool to uncover this new side of my family history.

Then 11% German DNA (6% Northwestern Germany and 5% Southern Germanic Europe). I know this comes from my mum's side as her family roots are tied to Norfolk and East Anglia (and it also tells me on ance). Could this German percentage actually be old Saxon DNA showing up?

Would love to hear your thoughts.
