I’ve spent over an entire hour riding through every damn inch of Armadillo and the surrounding desert, and I haven’t seen a single fucking armadillo. Not one. Zero. Absolutely nothing.
I’ve checked the roads, the hills, the open desert, daytime, nighttime—you name it. All I get are coyotes, rabbits, vultures, and every other useless creature in existence except the ONE animal I actually need.
Is the spawn rate completely broken, or is this game just trolling me? I’m genuinely losing my mind over this. Every guide says, “Just go to Armadillo, they’re everywhere.” Where?! Because apparently my version of the game didn’t get that memo.
Can someone please tell me if there’s an actual reliable location or trick to make these damn things spawn? I’m one step away from declaring war on the entire Mojave because of a fucking armadillo.
Help. Before I completely lose it.

The Chiliad Challenge is one of the most rage inducing pieces of trash ever forced into a video game. The controls are complete dogshit. That bike steers like a drunk elephant on ice while the AI magically sticks to the mountain like they’re cheating bastards with glued tires. One tiny bump and CJ launches off the cliff like a useless ragdoll while the camera has a full mental breakdown. Whoever tested this and said “yeah this is fun” needs their gaming privileges revoked forever. This mission is not difficult because it’s challenging. It’s difficult because it’s broken garbage designed to waste your time and spike your blood pressure. I have fought actual game bosses less annoying than this clown show of a race. Rockstar really looked at this disaster and thought “perfect”. Absolute fucking torture.
