I wish we could see more of him. So reliable and dependable. Extremely smart and efficient. Values the rules but only if they make sense, will compromise to get the job done. Doesn't care what anyone thinks and trusts his own judgement. Will throw a hard boundary and not cross it no matter what. >!Got addicted and then threw that away immediately as soon as he realised it endangered his partner.!< They picked the best actor for this role too. Can't imagine anyone playing him better. Honestly my favourite character in the show.

Update on who I think red John is not

I'm now on episode 6. Unfortunately it seems kinda obvious at this point because literally no one else has the calm cool energy other than the one old guy. Everyone is making obvious mistakes or acting like a devotee. Lisbon's boss is the second best option but he had so many opportunities to play Jane better but didn't do anything but sit back. I don't remember the old dude from the earlier episodes or see any motive or anything but everyone else seems too dumb to be it. The weirdo guy would be the most interesting choice rn

※Also if you know who it is, please DO NOT tell me. If I wanted to know I'd just look it the fuck up. Because Reddit doesn't hide spoilers from the Reddit notifications, I have had to constantly avoid opening any notifications just in case someone has posted the answer. Stop trying to ruin it for us

My husband's watch was possibly stolen from our home. Any advice?

My husband received a Rolex when his grandfather died. It was one his grandfather bought for daily use and means a lot to my husband. This year my husband finally bought one on his own. I could see that he was really proud that he was able to buy one for himself and it's a less flashy semi-casual use type.

He has ADHD and will lose everything so he kept it on his desk. I saw it there on Tuesday. On Wednesday an Aircon repair guy came in to do some work. I usually sleep until 2pm so I wasn't awake to mind the home. My husband apparently went to the washroom once during the 2 hours the man was there. The man walked around the house to get water from near where my husband's desk was.

In the evening I went to his desk to talk to him and didn't notice the watch there like I usually do but didn't think much of it until he was going out on Friday and started freaking out about it not being there.

No one has been home other than the air-con repair man. The man was also exceptionally rude to us and yelled at my husband for there being no parking space (? How's that our fault we never promised one) and just left without saying much apparently.

The thing is my husband said that in Japan, if you go to the police and eventually find it at home, they will charge you for wasting their time. Because of his ADHD I worry about that too but I also know he wouldn't have moved it while he was home. I ransacked the whole house and we couldn't find it anywhere.

Friends suggested:

I text the man telling him that he could get 2 years in jail for this and if he would leave the watch in the window, we won't call the cops.
Go with another friend's kinda scary acquaintance who's into the loanshark business to find the guy and get it from him.
Go to the cops and know that nothing much will come of it anyway.

Any advice?
