My 14 Pro Max’s front camera has stopped working. Camera app won’t switch to it and FaceTime is black.
Face ID still works, although it seems slower than before.

Apple Diagnostics says:
Front camera: “The camera couldn’t be detected.”
Face ID Presence Check: “The module wasn’t detected.”
Face ID Sensor Check: “The TrueDepth camera has an issue that’s affecting Face ID.”

The screen and rear camera have previously been replaced, but the original earpiece/TrueDepth components were kept.

Any idea what’s most likely faulty here - front camera, flex/connector, or TrueDepth module? I’m trying to avoid replacing anything that would kill the still-working Face ID.

Time blindness is real and it’s affecting people around me. My wife, for example, is struggling with my lack of time awareness and finding it hard to show me sympathy and support with this.

I use timers, alarms, calendar reminders, the works. But I struggle with being on time especially if I’m running an errand and I say I’ll be back in 1 hour, I might be back in 1.5-2 hours.

How do you help people around you work with your challenges and how do you estimate time better?
